Our Belief is that Logos Forum is the center of the Discipleship Ministry at Grace. Our goal is to provide training in the Word of God (logos) for all ages and stages of life and spiritual growth through multiple tracks of teaching and discussion (forum).

Interested in building relationships, growing in Christ and studying biblical truths? Then you would be interested in our home groups here at Grace. In January, we are gathering for a four week class to equip those interested in home groups. We will be looking at God’s purpose for home groups, five habits of life-changing groups as well as many other important tips. We will also laugh through some very fun examples of what not to do in a home group. Maybe you are already in a home group and your group just needs a tune-up, please join us.

This four week opportunity starts Sunday January 10th @ 10:30 am in DC 205.

Christian Worldview Essentials
If you really believe that what you believe is really real, and if science suggested something opposite to your current faith position, what would you do? Due to the popularity of "The Truth Project" classes, the new multi-week "Christian Worldview Essentials" class has been added to the Logos class lineup. We'll address the premier intellectual and faith issue of our time—evolution vs, creationism. Having attended a Truth Project class is not a prerequisite. Child care is available. Join us!

It is open to everyone starting this Sunday, January 10, 10:30 a.m., in DC202.

These tracks are designed to equip an individual in the area where there is a need. A nonacademic certificate of achievement recognizing each student's study of God's Word is awarded upon the completion of each track. Courses are normally 4-8 weeks in length, and may be offered in parts (1 and 2). There is no time limit for completion of a particular track. Classes may be taken in any order.

TRACK ONE- Basic Biblical Studies
This track is designed for the person who is seeking basic knowledge of the Bible and biblical principles. It is a must for the new believer or anyone who wants to learn the basics of the Christian faith.

TRACK TWO- Home Group Leadership Training
This track is designed to help equip those individuals who desire to lead a Grace Home Group.

TRACK THREE-Personal Growth
It's one thing to learn and store knowledge. It's a completely different issue to make that knowledge practical in everyday living. This series of classes is for those who are seeking help in applying biblical principles to life. The goal is to make "head knowledge" come alive as it is applied to situations at home, work, church, and in the community.

TRACK FOUR-Leadership Training
Leadership Training (also called the Incarnational Learning System) is a ten-month theologically intensive course. Training is designed for men who desire to be an elder here at Grace, or for those who aspire to or are already in leadership positions in the church. A separate brochure containing more information about Leadership Training is available.

TRACK FIVE-Bible Training
This track is an in-depth study of specific books of the Bible. These classes are open to anyone desiring to be equipped at a deeper level in their understanding of the Bible.

Grace Logos Forum provides practical, Bible-based content in the Logos Forum column of Veritas, the Journal of Counseling and Discipleship.

This coming year Veritas will devote itself to a very unpopular topic, sin. Specifically, the sins of the season. We live in a day where the popular culture not only tolerates sin but laughs at its notion of its’ existence. Government bail-outs and no-fault divorces are just a few evidences of how sin is overlooked in our world.

Sadly, this culture has influenced the church and many Christians are falling prey to accepting cultural excuses for doing wrong. Low self-esteem and being misunderstood are proclaimed to be the root of all evil whereas tolerance is the miracle solution.

We at Veritas will be proclaiming that sin is the root to all the problems people face, either that of their own or others, and that the grace and forgiveness of God is the only permanent solution. We hope that through your subscription you will help us to inform, encourage, and equip Christians around the world with the truth of Jesus Christ.
